Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

SiftId is operated by Pamplemoose Games LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as SiftId ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use siftid.co and related services (the "Service").

2. What SiftId Does

SiftId is an AI-assisted idea viability scoring tool. You submit a business or product idea, the Service processes that input through a large language model, and we return a score and written analysis based on a published rubric.

3. Our Commitments

In plain terms, here is what we will and will not do with the information you give us:

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or your submitted ideas with anyone outside the providers listed in Section 7.
  • We do not run any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Mixpanel, no session-replay tools, no advertising networks. The only cookies we set are the ones required to keep you logged in and to credit referral partners.
  • We do not use your submitted ideas to train AI models. Anthropic, the provider that scores your ideas, contractually does not train on commercial API inputs or outputs by default, and we do not opt into any data-sharing arrangement that would change that.
  • Your submitted ideas are private to your account. Other users cannot see them. We do not display them publicly.
  • You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing the address in Section 14. We respond within 30 days.

4. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. SiftId uses magic-link and OAuth authentication, so we do not store a traditional password.

Content you submit. We store the ideas and follow-up prompts you enter into the Service so we can score them and so you can see your history.

Scoring output. We store the scores and analyses returned by the model.

Subscription information. If you subscribe to the Pro plan, Stripe handles payment. We store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.

Referral attribution. If you arrive via a link containing a ?ref= parameter, we store a short-lived cookie with that referral code and, if you create an account, we record the referral source on your profile so we can credit the partner who sent you.

Technical information. Our hosting and edge providers automatically log standard request information such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested URL. This is used to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate the Service and score your ideas
  • Send transactional email (account confirmation, magic link, receipts)
  • Process subscription payments
  • Credit partners for referrals under our partner program
  • Prevent abuse and enforce plan limits
  • Communicate service updates or changes to these policies

We do not sell your information. We do not use your submitted ideas to serve advertising.

6. How Your Ideas Are Processed by AI

To score your ideas, the Service sends your input to Anthropic's Claude API (model: Claude Sonnet 4.6) for processing. Anthropic's commercial API terms provide that inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. Your submitted ideas are not shown publicly on SiftId. Only you can see your own SiftId history.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following providers to operate SiftId:

  • Supabase for database and authentication (AWS us-east-1).
  • Stripe for payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
  • Anthropic for AI scoring.
  • Resend for transactional email delivery (from the send.siftid.co domain).
  • Vercel for hosting and serverless infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, and basic edge security.
  • Google for optional Google Sign-In.

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to deliver their service to us.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your account record, submitted ideas, and associated scores are removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained longer for internal use. Transactional and billing records that we are legally required to keep (for example, tax records) are retained for the period required by law.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and your submitted content
  • Export your idea history

10. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), magic-link authentication, and row-level security on our database so that users can only access their own data. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

11. Children's Privacy

SiftId is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.

12. International Users

SiftId is operated from the United States and hosted on U.S.-based infrastructure. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information is processed in the U.S. and subject to U.S. law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or via the Service before the changes take effect. The effective date above reflects the most recent update.
